A significant part of Matt’s practice is devoted to cover-ups 

not just to mask the past, but to reclaim the canvas and create something that feels aligned. 

 

Whether reshaping a poorly thought-out tattoo or reworking a 

patchwork of marks collected over time, Matt approaches cover-ups with precision and purpose.

His goal is to restore balance to the body’s visual landscape, turning the unwanted into refinement and resolution.
